Help fund an extraordinary array of music education programs for children just by taking a tour of “Maison de la Mer,” a new French-inspired estate in Newport Coast. The project is a collaboration of premiere designers from LA to OC who worked for months to showcase their design talents for the 2011 Philharmonic House of Design benefiting he Philharmonic Society Youth Music Education.
The home is open for public tours Tuesday through Sunday until March 27. It features a Golden Truffle café and boutique as well as opportunity prizes and lectures on select days. The 10,800-square-foot house features a three-story floating staircase, a state-of-the art theater, wine cellar and tasting room, infinity pool and spa with Newport Harbor and coastline views. The 3,200-square-foot, subterranean, 10-car garage is especially impressive. The house is available for rent for corporate and private parties.
